I am walking out of the gym on w. 63rd Street and I hear this tenor singing and filling the air. It is beautiful. It turns out there is a jumbo screen across the street in the plaza at Lincoln Center and they are showing an opera. There are rows upon rows of chairs FILLED with people and people standing. I became one of them. It was glorious. I have not idea the opera, etc. It did not matter. I really feel that music can just fill your soul if you are open to it and it was simple transforming.
Thank you New York City for amazing me at every turn.

That's right!--I read that they're rebroadcasting all the Met HD broadcasts at Lincoln Center this summer. So neat.
