The shaping reason for coming to Ogunquit was to see Mary and Ellie's friend Jon Peterson perform in the Ogunquit Playhouse's production of "Singing in the Rain." He played Cosmo, the Donald O'Connor role, and was really and truly excellent. I have to say he nailed it: he had the sense of fun, the sense and sarcasm of being a third wheel (!!), and the physicality for the part. The audience loved him and he was a thrill to watch. Nice guy too!We all had a great time. And great seats.
And as sappy as it sounds the REAL RAIN on the stage was a thrill.
How great were our seats???? We were so close we got cold! And wet! Like being at the Shamu show!
