What a relaxing, peaceful day it was today. Here I am up in the country, out of the city, surrounded by snow. I read. I slept. Aris and John and I ate tremendously well thanks to Aris' great cooking. We had a stew last night that was to die for and this banana cake that was amazing. Like "crack" amazing. And breakfast this morning was perfection!
I am so grateful that they invited me to come up again. It has been just wonderful.
A warm fire going always.
A loving and sturdy pup at the ready.
A winter wonderland that made everything more cozy and not doing anything more forgivable,
And a full moon at night to remind me that we are all still crazy!
